We are seeking a commercially astute Regional Sales Manager to lead the Sales team and execute the sales strategy across our portfolio in South Africa and Mozambique.
This senior role is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening key account relationships, and ensuring strong market positioning across corporate, government, leisure, and MICE segments within the region.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement the regional sales strategy aligned with budget and revenue objectives.
- Drive new business acquisition and grow existing corporate, government, and agency accounts.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage strategic partnerships across both markets.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and emerging segments.
- Support and guide property-based sales teams to maximise performance and conversion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and rate positioning.
- Represent the portfolio at trade shows, sales missions, and key industry events.
- Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Operations to optimise total revenue performance
Qualifications and Competencies required:
- Proven experience in a senior hospitality sales role, ideally with multi-property or regional exposure.
- Strong commercial network within South Africa (Mozambique exposure advantageous)
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into measurable results.
- Willingness to travel across the region as required.
