ONOMO Hotels is seeking a driven, well-connected Sales Manager with a passion for the leisure and FIT segment to join our Sales team in Cape Town.
This role will support our three ONOMO properties in the Cape Town and drive top-line revenue through strategic partnerships, lead generation, and brand-aligned sales activations in the domestic and international leisure market.
We are looking for someone who knows how to build travel trade pipelines, drive OTA visibility, close rate agreements, and convert lookers into bookers!
Key Responsibilities include:
- Secure and grow our share across FIT, OTA, and travel agency channels — both inbound and local.
- Turn indirect interest into direct bookings. Leverage travel expos, B2B channels, and creative destination marketing to drive room nights.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with TMCs, local concierges, and regional tourism bodies.
- Collaborate with Regional Revenue Manager to package, price, and promote seasonal and event-based offers across our 3 Cape Town properties.
- Represent ONOMO Hotels at key trade shows, roadshows, and fam trips.
- Monitor conversions, production, and pace vs targets and report monthly performance metrics.
Qualifications and Competencies required:
- 3–5 years in hotel or travel sales, with a proven track record in the leisure or travel trade segment.
- Solid understanding of FIT behavior, booking windows, rate parity challenges, and OTA platform mechanics.
- Strong B2B travel industry connections within South Africa and key source markets.
- Energetic, solutions-driven, creative with packages and proposals, and confident presenting across platforms.
- Familiarity with the local hotel landscape, destination highlights, seasonality, and key event drivers.
