Job Summary
ONOMO Hotels is looking for 3 x dynamic, target-driven Sales Executives with experience in the hotel sales environment, specifically within the Corporate and Government market segments. These roles are based at ONOMO Sandton, ONOMO Durban, and ONOMO Cape Town, working closely with the hotel Sales Manager to drive revenue, build strong client relationships, and support group-wide growth through cross-selling ONOMO sister properties based on client travel patterns.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage, grow and service the Corporate and Government client portfolio.
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations and site inspections.
- Identify travel patterns and cross-sell ONOMO sister properties where relevant.
- Work closely with the hotel-based Sales Manager to align on strategy and execution.
- Prepare and submit sales activity reports, pipelines and performance updates to the Hotel Sales Manager, Hotel GM and Regional Sales Manager.
- Track competitor activity, market shifts and new business opportunities.
- Represent ONOMO Hotels at industry events, trade shows and networking forums.
- Maintain strong client service and represent the ONOMO brand professionally at all times.
Qualifications and Competencies required:
- 1–2 years’ proven experience in hotel sales (Corporate/Government experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of market segmentation and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently within a multi-level reporting structure.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (mandatory).
- Highly organised, proactive, professional and confident in a client-facing role
