ONOMO Hotel Dar es Salaam is looking for a hands-on, tenacious, and street-smart Sales Executive to join our team. This role is for a true sales hunter—someone who isn’t afraid to knock on doors, make cold calls, and walk into offices to generate leads and build relationships. If you are old-school in your sales approach and thrive on chasing targets face-to-face, we want you on our Sales team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Business Development: Actively seek out new corporate and travel trade clients for the hotel through face-to-face visits, cold calls, and on-site networking.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, travel agents, corporate clients, and government contacts.
• Sales Calls & Visits: Conduct regular field sales visits to promote the hotel, present tailored packages, and close business deals.
• Lead Conversion: Convert inquiries into bookings by following up promptly, negotiating rates, and offering compelling value propositions.
• Reporting & Target Tracking: Maintain a sales pipeline and report weekly on visits, prospects, and conversions. Track performance against monthly sales targets.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Front Office, Reservations, and F&B teams to ensure smooth handover of client needs and delivery of service.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in hotel or hospitality sales, with a strong background in direct field sales and business development.
• Sales-Driven: Target-oriented, self-motivated, and results-focused. Comfortable with KPIs and monthly targets.\
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident, persuasive personality.
• Local Market Knowledge: Well-networked in Dar es Salaam with an understanding of the local corporate and travel landscape.
• Independence: Able to work independently in the field with minimal supervision. You know how to manage your own leads, visits, and follow-ups.
• Professionalism: Presentable, disciplined, and always representing the ONOMO brand with integrity and energy.
