ONOMO Hotels is seeking a sharp, analytical, and detail-driven Regional Internal Auditor to join our growing finance function. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role plays a critical part in safeguarding operational integrity and promoting internal control excellence across our hotels in East and Southern Africa. Key Responsibilities include:

• Internal Audit Missions:
• Plan and execute audit missions across properties, from preparation to reporting.
• Evaluate internal control systems and carry out audit tests on selected samples.
• Identify risks, propose actionable recommendations, and draft clear mission reports.
• Track the implementation of corrective action plans and report on progress.
• Control & Compliance Oversight:
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with ONOMO HQ policies and procedures.
• Support teams by delivering on-site training in internal controls and operational best practices.
• Monitor and support initiatives related to account receivables and other key control areas.
• Documentation & Support:
• Assist in maintaining and updating internal audit documentation and templates.
• Contribute to special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned by the Group CFO.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in auditing or internal controls, preferably within the hospitality or service sector.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong skills in evaluating systems, spotting weaknesses, and proposing improvements.
• Communication: Integrity: Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and train operational teams effectively.
• Integrity: High ethical standards, independence, and discretion when dealing with sensitive financial and operational data.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel across the region to conduct audits and support hotels on-site.
