We are a Pan-African lifestyle brand known for providing exceptional hospitality experiences, and we are looking for an experienced Night Auditor to ensure smooth operations during the night shift, guaranteeing a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Guest Check-in & Check-out: Ensure that all guests are checked in and checked out efficiently and professionally during the night shift, providing exceptional service at all times.
- Night Auditing: Perform daily audits of hotel financial transactions, ensuring all accounts balance and correct discrepancies as needed.
- Front Desk Operations: Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, providing solutions with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial and operational reports, including end-of-day cash and credit card reconciliations, ensuring all data is recorded accurately.
- Security: Oversee hotel security, including monitoring guest access, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff members.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with all departments to ensure smooth operational processes and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
- Night Shift Support: Provide support to hotel management in addressing any overnight issues and assist in maintaining the hotel’s operational standards.
Qualifications and Competencies required:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar front desk role in a hotel.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot discrepancies in financial reports, manage accounts accurately, and maintain high standards of quality control.
- Customer Service: Exceptional guest service skills with the ability to handle a variety of guest needs, ensuring all inquiries are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Communication Skills: Clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on maintaining a positive relationship with guests and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to handle emergencies or unexpected situations calmly and efficiently, making quick decisions to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using Opera and MS Office.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work the night shift, weekends, and holidays as required.
