Job Summary

We are seeking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Reservationist to join our Onomo Sandton team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing guest reservations, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to an excellent guest experience.


Key Responsibilities Include:

Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels.

Accurately enter and update guest reservation information in our property management system (e.g., Opera).

Provide information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities.

Communicate with guests to confirm, modify, or cancel reservations.

Ensure all special requests or preferences are documented and met.

Assist with troubleshooting reservation issues or special requests from guests.

Collaborate with the front desk and other departments to ensure smooth guest check-ins and check-outs.

Always maintain a professional and welcoming attitude.


Qualifications and Competencies required:

Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a similar role or any role in Front Office

Proficient in using reservations systems such as Opera and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Flexible schedule and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

A positive, team-oriented attitude.
