We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to coordinate sales efforts, drive revenue, and help expand our brand's presence specifically across Leisure market as well as Corporate, TMC, MICE, and Events based in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing sales strategies and partnership to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintaining and growing relationships with key clients and business partners, with a focus on generating new business for all ONOMO sister hotels.
- Keeping strong focus on leisure market as well as TMC, and CORP sectors as per the cross-over selling strategy for all sister hotels in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban.
- Collaborating with the wider sales team to align efforts, share best practices, and ensure success across all market segments.
- Identifying new business opportunities to expand market share and enhance brand visibility in Cape Town.
- Managing and tracking sales activities and performance to meet budgetary expectations.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of promotional events, campaigns, and special offers.
- Regular reporting on sales progress and market feedback to management.
Qualifications and Competencies required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales experience within the hotel or hospitality industry, with a solid track record of successful conversions.
- Strong understanding of the Leisure Market in Cape Town, as well as Corporate, TMC, MICE, PCO’s and Events in Cape Town.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and thrive under pressure while achieving targets.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player who demonstrates integrity, authenticity, and a passion for excellence.
- Results-oriented, with a creative and strategic approach to problem-solving and sales development.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
