ONOMO Hotels is seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide on-site and remote IT support for the three hotels in Cape Town, as well as assist the HQ (Cape Town) when needed. The role will involve maintaining the functionality of all IT infrastructure, including workstations, servers, network equipment, and specialized systems such as CCTV, TV, and audio systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site and remote IT support for hotels and HQ
Maintain and troubleshoot workstations, servers, networking equipment, and other IT systems
Manage and monitor network infrastructure including LAN, WiFi, VLANs
Support and troubleshoot CCTV, IPTV, and other AV systems
Assist with the management of Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, and all Windows Server OS platforms
Provide IT support for Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems
Ensure smooth operation of all IT-related systems in the hotel environment
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
Own transport is essential
A+, N+ or equivalent IT certifications
Excellent support and troubleshooting skills
Strong teamwork ethic with the ability to work independently
Solid understanding of networking principles (LAN, WiFi, VLANs)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10/11, and Windows Server OS platforms is a must
Basic knowledge of CCTV and IPTV systems
Experience with Ubiquiti and Aruba WiFi systems is a bonus
Hospitality experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
